What is the Dopamine Challenge?

It is quitting all unnatural dopamine stimulation (or super stimuli) for a period of time. That means no TV, refined sugar, alcohol, processed fats, nicotine, recreational drugs, caffeine, and porn and making deliberate choices about meal times, social media, and shopping.

For the love of life! Why would you put yourself through this!?

It would be a terrible idea to do this for your whole life, but imagine what you could learn if you tried it for a few weeks.

>  A running start for creating some good habits.

> Rebalance the dopamine receptors in the Nucleus Accumbens

>  Learn what the body feels like on natural stimulation.

>  Loose weight, quit smoking, stop wasting time, generally get your bad habits under control.

>  Sacrifice a few weeks of pleasure to search for a life time of joy.

What I Learned

The question of what drives you and makes you happy becomes front and center when there are no sugar coated goodies. I did this fast in a desperate attempt to get healthy and motivated, but after a few days it had me asking all the real questions. A 40 Day Dopamine Fast  follows one man’s crazy journey through giving up everything he looks forward to during the day  to figuring out what he really wants. This is a book for anyone who has wanted their life to be in one place while their behavior took them to another.

Are you deficient in physical, creative, or social activity? Do you get out of bed on time everyday because you respect yourself and the things you have on the go? What are you actively doing to make sure you love life?

These are some of the most important questions a person can ask themselves. It is so easy to let life fly by as a blur of fears, desires, and cravings. I have done my best to put what I learned over my 40 day detox into a short three page pdf I can spread around to everyone. Sign up to the Dopamine Challenge Mailing list and get it for free.
